6 steps to becoming a client

Step 1: Say Hello

Deciding who should look after your money is a big decision, and that’s why your first initial meeting with us is completely free of charge. Come and say hello, and get a feel for who we are; this is your opportunity to decide whether we’re right for you.

Step 2: Immediate Concerns

Talk us through any concerns you may have, and let us know what you need from us. We’ll request an overview of your circumstances, and following on from this we’ll let you know what you can expect from us, and how we can work together.

Step 3: Objectives

Together we’ll look at what you’re trying to achieve, and we’ll let you know if we’ve got any concerns; particularly if there is additional risk involved. At this point, we’ll talk you through the costs, including our advice report, which we aim to make as comprehensive as possible.

Step 4: Third Meeting

In our third meeting, we’ll discuss and agree on your Financial Plan, and any actions which need to be taken. Ensuring that your Financial Plan works effectively for you is essential, so we work on an advisory basis, and have no discretion when making changes to your portfolio.

Step 5: Implementation of your Financial Plan

We’ll take control of implementing your Financial Plan, including liaising with any current investment or life insurance companies, and together we’ll work to complete any paperwork and set out the timescales involved.

Step 6: On-going relationship and regular reviews

As our relationship develops, we’ll schedule in regular meetings to review what is happening with your circumstances. This means that when life happens (and it will!), that your Financial Plan stays flexible enough to keep you on track. Once you’re on board with us, you’ll always be about to get in touch with us during business hours, by phone or by email.
